The FLH-001B Holster is specifically designed to work with the Section8tactical Ultimate Retention Device(URD). No other uses are advised or intended.

The main body and belt sizing
insert of the holster are made of injection molded plastic. The
insert has 2 fingers
that snap
into 2 mating grooves in the holster body to reduce the spacing on the
waist belt loop to accomodate
belts from 1 3/4" to 2 1/4". The holster will work on the smaller
width belts without the insert, it is there for carrying the holster lower
on the belt. You might choose
not to use it. For larger belts, the insert is not used and easily pried
out by expanding the 2 fingers.
The holster comes with a hook and loop retention strap
that wraps around the flashlight and URD once they are correctly placed
in the holster. A section on the end of the strap has no hook and loop
to make it easy to open the strap for use.
Simply open the strap, place a finger into the URD, and slide the URD
and your flashlight out of the holster.
You will now be able to have the benefits of the URD and have it and your
light accessible in either a HEAD UP, HEAD DOWN, LEFT or RIGHT side positioning.
